Acting Minister for MICA celebrates commencement of 2010 academic year with SOTA

4 January 2010 heralded a significant milestone in the history of SOTA as school begins on new grounds at Zubir Said Drive. Acting Minister for Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts, Mr Lui Tuck Yew accompanied by distinguished patron, Dr Lee Boon Yang and SOTA Board of Directors, joined the SOTA community in an exuberant ushering of the new 2010 academic year at a sparkling new campus. Mr Lui in his welcome address, spoke of how SOTA’s mission to nurture young artistic and academic talents in a holistic learning environment, contributes towards realising Singapore’s vision of becoming a global city for the arts.
