Open Jazz Masterclass for Males by Jacquie Coad

Jacquie began dancing at age 5 with Sonny Jose and at 17, she joined the ‘Palladium’ as a professional dancer, which then led to her choreographing shows such as For the Term of his Natural Life (Broad Arrow Productions), South Pacific (G&S Society), Stepping Out (Collegiate), Tarantara (G&S Society), The Wedding Singer (Rosny College) and Hobart Theatre Summer School’s Oklahoma, Pirates of Penzance, Guys and Dolls and Urinetown.

She performed in Cinderella (G&S Society), Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs (Sydney Theatre Company), 42nd Street (Sydney Hills Company) and played the role of Tom in Tom and Jerry (Warner Bros.). Jacquie has also choreographed for Jenina’s Dance Workshop, Nicole Rosson Dancers, Bel Canto, Class Act Juniors, Scallywags and Old Nick’s Uni Revues Bored of the Rings, Honey I Shrunk the Libs, Gone with the Windfall, Big Brothel, Little Brighton and Diamond Knickers. During this time she has also choreographed and performed in Bawdy Panto’s productions of Boobs in the Woods, Sinderella, Aladdin and his Magic Lump and Alice in Underpants. Jacquie is currently a dance teacher at The Hutchins School, and teaches Jazz, Song and Dance, and Tap.
