SOTA Trio wins First Prize at the Singapore Ensemble Competition (Senior Category)

Three of SOTA’s students, Tu Si Jing (Year 4, Flute), Brenda Koh (Year 4, Violin) and Joshua Evan Lee (Year 3, Piano) participated as a trio and clinched the top prize in the senior category at the Singapore Ensemble Competition in November 2011.

Their performance of the work Trio for flute, violin and piano by composer Nino Rota earned them the highest marks from a panel of distinguished judges, beating fellow competitors from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, Tongji University as well as various Polytechnics.
