Wang Li-Sa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Sociology and a Master of Social Sciences in Applied Sociology from the National University of Singapore. She began her career in Education as an English Language and Geography teacher. A proponent of lifelong learning, Li-Sa pursues her interest in linguistics and culture through constant participation in language courses. Li-Sa is also Singapore’s first professional Sign Language Interpreter and a dedicated youth leader, having served The Boys’ Brigade in Singapore as an officer since 1999. Prior to joining SOTA, she served as Senior Head (Policy) in the Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education.
