Teo Chun Meng graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree (majoring in Mathematics) from the National University of Singapore and a Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University.
He began his career in education as a mathematics and physics teacher in Beatty Secondary School. Chun Meng was later posted to Raffles Institution to teach mathematics in the Gifted Education Programme from 2000 to 2007. During his stint at Raffles Institution, Chun Meng was appointed as Gifted Education’s Level Coordinator from 2001 to 2003 and Programme Head for Research Education from 2005 to 2007.
Chun Meng enjoys watching theatre and drama performances in his leisure time. He also enjoys helping SOTA students to make connections between mathematics and the arts.
