Ng Teck Voon started dancing at the age of 7 under the tutelage of his aunt, Ng Siew Fong. He continued his dance training at the Central School of Ballet, London after winning a full scholarship from the institution. After graduating in 1990, he worked extensively in Europe and performed with companies such as The Northern Ballet Theatre (England), Heidelberg State Theatre (Germany), Djazzex Dance Company and Reflex Dance Company (The Netherlands).

Teck Voon started choreographing in 2002 and his works have been presented in both South-East Asia and Europe. Other notable achievements include collaborations with The Flemmish Opera and Brussel Opera House (Belgium) and National Reisopera (The Netherlands), where Teck Voon worked closely with opera directors to create movement theatre in opera productions.

As a much sought-after teacher, Teck Voon has taught in three majors school in The Netherlands (CoDarts, Theaterschool Amsterdam and Fontys Dance Academy), various companies (DeStilte, Station Zuid and Cirque du Soleil) and professional centres (Dansateliers and Tanzhaus Dusseldorf). He is an experienced teacher in both classical ballet and contemporary. Leveraging on his experiences as a performer, choreographer and teacher in the West, he aspires to stimulate the artistic growth and enhance the technical skills of his students.
