Nicole Goh earned her Bachelor of Science (Merit) degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Applications from the National University of Singapore. She went on to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore as well as Masters of Education, specialising in Curriculum and Teaching. She has also undergone International Baccalaureate’s specialised training in teaching Mathematics and in guiding students for their Creativity, Activity, Service projects.
Nicole taught at North View Secondary School and Holy Innocents’ High School. In Holy Innocents’ High School, she was appointed as the level coordinator for Mathematics, in which she collaborated with teachers in planning programmes and lessons to enhance the learning progress of the students. As a Career guidance coordinator, she liaised with external school organisations to give tertiary education talks, conducted workshops and arranged work attachments for the students.
Nicole was also in the Normal Academic committee in which she was involved in developing lesson packages to engage students in their learning. In 2008, Nicole participated in an overseas teacher-exchange programme with another school in Shenyang, China.
Nicole attends Arts enrichment classes through which she has developed a keen interest in arts and photography. She hopes to nurture a similar passion for Mathematics in her students through arts and photography.
