National Arts Council Scholarship 

Recipients: Jessica Lam, Valerie Yeo & Amni Musfirah

Three outstanding SOTA students were awarded the prestigious National Arts Council (NAC) Scholarships on 30 July 2013. They include Jessica Lam (2012 graduate, Faculty of Dance), Valerie Yeo (Year 4 Dance student) and Amni Musfirah (2012 graduate, Faculty of Music). Jessica will be heading to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia to pursue her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, while Valerie will be doing her Foundation & Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Professional Dance and Performance at the Central School of Ballet (UK). Amni will be reading her Bachelor of Music in Composition and Performance at the Berklee College of Music (USA). The NAC Scholarship aims to nurture outstanding individuals who wish to pursue a career as an arts practitioner or professional, and have the potential to lead in the fields of performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, or technical production design and management in Singapore.
