SOTA Theatre alumna Fiona Lim received the Best Performance Award in this year's National Youth Film Awards (NYFA). Organised by *SCAPE and presented by DBS, NYFA is a film competition that aims to establish a benchmark between the local film industry and institutes of higher learning offering film-related and animation courses.

Fiona performed in the film Don't Die Without Me, created by Raphael Yee, who is also a SOTA Theatre graduate. Don't Die Without Me is about two Internet friends going through depression and they eventually decide to meet up to end their lives together. The inspiration for this film came from Raphael's personal experiences.
