2012 Theatre graduate Nicholas Tee embarked on a new project, #cam4art, an online webcam-based performance art event.

'#cam4art' aims to grant artists the autonomy to broadcast from practically anywhere - schools, galleries, even bedrooms! As long as the artist has a webcam and an internet connection, he or she can take part in '#cam4art'. Each week, a link will be posted on the website to direct viewers to a live-stream site, where artists from across the world will stream their performances live. The performances are also archived on the website so for viewers who missed the live-streaming.

The first edition was launched in November 2016.

Artists willing to create new work or adapt old work for a live-streamed performance to a webcam may find out more on www.cam4art.com.

Nicholas is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Performance Arts at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He is also part of The Bhumi Collective, a collective of Singapore theatre, dance and music makers based in the United Kingdom. He was the Assistant Producer of ‘bhumi', a contemporary Malay dance show performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2016.
