At this year's Singapore Night Festival, Class of 2014 Visual Arts alumna Ng Jin Xi, together with a team of students from the Singapore University of Technology and Design, created an installation titled Phosphene!

Known as Praxis+, the 10 SUTD students from architecture and engineering backgrounds took four months to build the entire 15m-long installation from scratch. A winding cavern of twinkling lights and unexpected turns, Phosphene invites visitors on a journey of inspiration and surprises, sparked by the beautiful moments of the Singapore Night Festival’s decade-long journey. The work celebrates the memories and experiences of the Festival and those who have been part of it through the years.

The installation was available for viewing from 18 - 26 Aug 2017 at the National Design Centre.
