What Our Alumni Have Been Up To

Bunker Without Borders - Alumni Collaboration

It is not uncommon to see SOTA graduates getting together at places all over the world, connected by their love for the arts.

On 2 December 2017, Theatre alumnus Nur Sabrina Dzulkifli (Class of 2015) along with Dance alumni Deanna Dzulkifli (Class of 2016) and Nah Jieying (Class of 2013) presented some works-in-progress by Singaporean artists, at 'Bunker Without Borders', a festival of theatre, spoken word, dance and music.

Pictured below are Deanna and Sabrina performing a script-in-hand reading.

UNTAPPED DISCOVERY

The UNTAPPED series by the Visual Arts Development Association of Singapore aims to establish support networks and offer practical experience for local artists at the early stages of their careers. Class of 2017 Visual Arts alumnus Lim Zeharn, with his kinetic video installation work 'Sweet Agony', was one of eight young Singapore-based artists hand-picked for the UNTAPPED DISCOVERY exhibition, spanning 9 to 22 December 2017.

'Harmony for Hope - One Voice Against Cancer' Music Concert

SOTA students are encouraged to contribute to the community. It is thus heartening that three of our recent IBCP music graduates, Rachel Wong, Syakirah Noble and Ted Ngoo, continued doing so by guest performing at the 'Harmony for Hope - One Voice Against Cancer' music concert, singing a series of captivating pieces.
