From being part of the photography crew when she was at SOTA to founding a photography studio with purpose today, 2015 Film alumna Chan Kah Mun has come a long way! She recently graduated from Urban Studies at Yale-NUS College this August and founded How Light Falls, a photography studio where she uses her passion for photography for a good cause. Through the sale of self-designed postcards featuring her photography, Kah Mun has raised $1500 for community groups dedicated to climate action, gender equality, and social justice. In this time of COVID-19, she hopes for people to cultivate sincere handwritten connections through the postcards, reminisce memories through photographs, and imbue personal meaning through writing.

It's great to see the SOTA spirit of art-making and the value of people-centredness in her! Check out Kah Mun's photography and postcards HERE.
