The Class of 2019 has blossomed into confident, caring, critical thinkers and many have leveraged their artistic skills and creativity to embark on various meaningful initiatives during their time at SOTA. They share their thoughts on their SOTA experience.

Huge congratulations to Dawn Lim (Theatre, 2019) who has received the prestigious Harvard Prize Book! The award recognises Dawn as a student with notable promise of becoming a service leader.

Bennett Bay (Music, 2013) launched his latest EP "Little Old Town" on 24 January this year! Comprising three songs, each song was written and composed while Bennett was travelling alone in Japan.

Class of 2018 Dance alumna Allison Tan was one of the SAF Officer Cadet School cadets commissioned in December 2019. As the top Navy graduand, she received the Sword of Honour from President Halimah Yacob during the commissioning parade.

Year 5 Film student Ethan Kan and Film alumni Joanne Ho (Class of 2016) and Emma Ting (Class of 2018) were writers for the 2019 edition of the SGIFF Youth Jury & Critics Programme. Congratulations and well done!

This November and December, Class of 2017 Visual Arts alumnus Lim Zeharn's work was featured in 'A.void', an exhibition in Nanjing.

This year, we are proud to have Allison Tan (Dance, 2018) as our second President's Scholar and first SAF Scholar. Several alumni have also clinched scholarships in diverse fields.

Congratulations to Class of 2013 Music alumna Nicolette Chin who clinched the third prize in the Szeged Hungary International Harp Competition 2019 (under 25 category)!

Part of the original cast in the sold-out run in London (2014), SOTA Dance graduate Adelene Stanley returned in the second run of award-winning dance musical, "INALA"! The only Asian and Singaporean in the show, Adelene was excited to be back in Singapore in June this year to present this spectacular concert.

We're delighted to see three SOTA Theatre alumni involved in "Acting Mad", a meaningful production about mental health.
