SOTA Dance alumnae Faye Tan and Ma Yueru were involved in Frontier Danceland’s mid-year production, "SIDES", earlier in May 2019.

"In Time With" directed by alumna Ashley Jane Leow (Film, 2018) was nominated for Best Art Direction at this year's ciNE65. The film featured many SOTA alumni, including Khym Fong (Film, 2016), who was nominated for Best Actress.

Class of 2015 Music alumna Indah Hassan was recently featured in Berita Harian for her first single titled 'Kehadiranmu'.

Class of 2017 Music alumna Syakirah Noble released her single "Sentiasa" in July this year. She is grateful that music transcends boundaries; even though many of her listeners do not speak Malay or are not of Malay ethnicity, they are able to appreciate her music.

In July, we welcomed back Samuel Phua and Lin Xiangning (Music, 2015) for an evening summer recital and pre-show talk at the SOTA Orchestral Rehearsal Studio.

Dance alumnae Michelle Lim (2012) and Zunnur Zhafirah (2013) were featured as artists in "Off Stage", part of the M1 Contact Contemporary Dance Festival on 16 and 17 July 2019! Michelle and Zunnur presented "H O M E S I C K" and "Luna(s)" respectively.

Congratulations to Class of 2017 Visual Arts alumna Thng Ai Wei on publishing her very own artbook, "Songs for July"!

Alumni Lai Yu Tong (Visual Arts, 2014) and Sarah Yap Soke Kee (Visual Arts, 2015) were nominees of LASALLE's prestigious McNally Award for Excellence in the Arts! Yu Tong also had a solo exhibition recently while the carpet designed by Sarah was selected as the winning design of the exclusive Balsan X LASALLE collaboration!

The recipient of the inaugural Objectifs Curator Open Call, MAT is an insightful photography exhibition that seeks to deconstruct notions of the Malay identity through the artistic responses presented by three emerging artists, including Class of 2017 Visual Arts alumnus Farizi Noorfauzi.

Class of 2015 Theatre alumna Gabrielle Sammy played the title role in 'Aida', a production that is part of The LASALLE Show 2019. Gabrielle is the first SOTA graduate to complete the Musical Theatre Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree programme at the LASALLE College of the Arts.
