"Water Walk (1959), for objects, radios, bath tub and piano," said the programme booklet. It was an evening of contemporary music indeed at SOTA Music Faculty's ALA. Held in January this year at the SOTA Concert Hall, our Music teachers enthralled us with a repertoire of varied works, from Olivier Messiaen's Première communion de la Vierge to Aísthēsis written by our very own Mr Sascia Pellegrini. The finale piece Water Walk involved objects mostly related to water.

ALA was a wonderful concert that opened up listeners' music world views to a wider repertoire. Kudos to our Music teachers for a memorable evening!
