Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, our teachers were still creating and inspiring daily with their art. From 4 April to 19 July 2020, Visual Arts faculty member Ms Zen Teh's work was part of The Seeds We Sow, an exhibition at Mizuma Gallery.

Titled Reclaimed Sculpture: Domestic Landscape (2020), her piece is particularly poignant in the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Ms Teh presented one of the furniture from an ongoing series she has been working on, a reflection of her conscious effort of working with second hand furniture marking the environmental consciousness as an artist, and an invitation to the public to reduce waste.

"Especially when we read news of how animals and plants are returning to the cities in a time like this, we’d start to see how cutting back our impact on the environment can enable nature to flourish.” she said.
