N.E.mation! 4 Competition - "Why I Care About Singapore"

Crystle Wee, Victoria Chen, Erica Heng and Lee Fang teamed up to participate in N.E.mation! 4, a competition for youths to express their notions on Total Defence through animation centred around the theme of "Why I Care About Singapore". They emerged as the first runners-up team and walked away with prizes worth $4,000 sponsored by Canon Singapore.

DynamicWorkz Competition 2009

Ryan Goh clinched the 2nd Prize in the Senior Category of the DynamicWorkz Competition 2009 - a national schools level music competition organised by arts events company DynamicWorkz and supported by Yamaha; Sarah Ng clinched the Merit Award in the Open Category and Jocelyn Ng was a semi-finalist.

POMO Sculpture competition 2009

Ong Sim was awarded third place in the POMO Sculpture competition 2009. An entry from Bevin Ng and Janel Ang was also selected as one of the finalists. The students were the only pre-tertiary finalists and had their work displayed alongside that of students from LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

Lead singers of the Asian Youth Games 2009

Amni Musfirah Binte Abdul Rashid was one of the lead singers of the Asian Youth Games 2009 theme song, Asia's Youth, Our Future, at the Games' opening ceremony, and the soloist for its ballad version.

At the Asian Youth Games 2009 opening ceremony, Moira Loh and Lydia Lim recorded and performed live the aria by eminent local composer Iskandar Ismail, set to ancient Sanskrit text for the item "Spirit of Evolution".

Performance on Getaran Jiwa

Amni Musfirah Binte Abdul Rashid gave a vocal performance on Getaran Jiwa by P. Ramlee, at the Official Dinner of APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting 2009, hosted by Singapore Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam and attended by Finance Ministers from APEC’s 21 economies, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, and the Presidents of the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

Genee International Ballet Competition

Ma Yue Ru and Thaddaeus Low came in 1st and 2nd place respectively at the Dance Gala competition and performance, organised by the Royal Academy of Dance, in conjunction with the prestigious Genee International Ballet Competition. They have been bestowed with the honour of performing their competition items at the Genee International Ballet Competition gala fund-raising dinner in September 2009.

Celebrators of Experimentation, Expression and Discovery 2009

Janel Ang clinched the 3rd Prize in the Reflection Youth Photo Competition 2009, organised by the South Zone Excellence Centre for Design in collaboration with the National Geographic Store, Singapore. Janel's entry was chosen among 2,255 entries from 94 secondary and integrated programme schools.
