Year 2 student Nicole Tong and Year 3 student Khym Fong have done SOTA proud by clinching the Best Inquirer Awards at the 10th RI Inter-School Philosophy Dialogue that took place at Raffles Institution on 20 July 2013. ACE TEEN Award 2013

Our Year 5 student, Goh King-Sheung, Ryan was selected as the Merit Winner of the ACE TEEN Award 2013. The ACE award is an annual award that gives national recognition to the achievements of children and teens with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Yeo Keng Wee, our Year 5 student was also nominated for the ACE award.

Both of them have shown tremendous resilience in overcoming challenges and this has brought about a positive change in their attitude and motivation. It is also encouraging to note that they are mentoring younger students with similar ADHD condition. Credit also goes to SOTA's Educational Psychologist, Mrs Lee Ming Ying for nurturing and guiding them through the Excel Learning Intervention Programme.
