It was a great showing by SOTA teams at this year's National Inter-school Tchoukball Championships!
The A Div boys' team emerged champions for the third consecutive year, while the A Div girls' team showed outstanding team spirit and skill to secure second place in a tough fight. We are also encouraged by the performance of the B and C Div teams. The C Div boys’ team came in as the 3rd runner-up and our girls' team also did their best and put up a good fight. Both the B Div boys' and girls' teams gave their all and showed great potential to achieve greater heights.
We are proud of the dedication and hours of training all teams have put in to fly the SOTA flag high. The teams had training twice a week since the beginning of the year to prepare for the competition. It was heartening to see the school come together to support their peers at the finals too! We would like to make special mention to the Year 5 seniors from the A Div teams, Phone, Sin Lyvong, Sarah Gomez and Tay Yuen Ning, who acted as student coaches for their B Div juniors, on top of their own training and studies. We thank Ms Wynn Chew for her guidance and support as well.
