Congratulations to Year 3 Theatre student Batrisya Soffian on winning the Most Promising Actor/Actress Award for her role in social drama Bantal Buruk Saloma (Saloma's Worn-out Pillow) at this year's Pesta Perdana! She played the role of a child who initially struggled with leaving her foster family to return to her father who had been released from jail, but eventually proved that blood is thicker than water in a heart-warming conclusion. Watch an excerpt of her performance here. We're very proud of you, Batrisya!

Pesta Perdana is Mediacorp Suria's biennial awards show for local Malay television.
