ABOUT THIS EVENT

On behalf of the IBCP Visual Arts cohort, we warmly invite you to the 2022 “Cold Open” exhibition at the SOTA gallery from 13 - 25 May 2022.

“Cold Open” describes the first few sequences of a show that comes before the opening credits, immediately immersing the viewer from its outset. The art of the Year 5 and 6 IBCP VA students reflects on exploring this idea of immersion and the cyclical nature of confinement, which allows for deeper internal introspection. Above all, “Cold Open” serves as a celebration of our fledgling art-making journey, showcasing our immersion into our craft and our hopes for the future.
