The School may conduct a Supplementary Intake Exercise (SIE) subject to available vacancies after the release of the PSLE results. The SIE is open to current P6 students who sat for the PSLE in 2024 and who have not been admitted to a
school through the DSA-Sec Exercise.
Applicants who are interested to apply to SOTA via the SIE must also concurrently take part in the MOE Secondary one (S1) Posting Exercise for the posting of Secondary School and Third Language (if applicable).
Successful SIE applicants who have accepted SOTA’s SIE offer subsequently will not be posted to another school under the S1 Posting Exercise.
Applicants who have opted for Third Language in the S1 Posting Exercise will still be processed based on their Third Language choices.
As the timeline for SIE applications is very tight, interested applicants are strongly advised to indicate their interest online and upload the required documents during the Indication of Interest period. This page will be updated with more information in November 2024.

- Log in to the TA Portal Account, and
- Submit online application for SIE

Applicants will be informed of the selection outcome via e-mail. Please note that
the School will not release any information explaining why an application is
unsuccessful.

- Submission of Acceptance Form
- The Acceptance Form is considered as void if there is no written response from the
applicant by 10:00 AM (SGT) on the stipulated date.
IMPORTANT: By accepting SOTA’s offer, the applicant will not be posted to
another secondary school via the S1 Posting, as their submitted S1 school choices will be
made void. For applicants who are eligible to take a Third Language, their Third Language options
continue to be valid and will be processed based on their choices. Unsuccessful applicants
will be posted to a secondary school based on their submitted school choices under the S1
Posting.
