Anna Phang holds a Bachelor of Arts (Education) with Honours from Nanyang Technological University, specialising in Geography and History, and a Diploma with Merit in Communications and Media Management from Temasek Polytechnic.
She brings extensive experience as a Humanities educator, having served as a Senior Educational Technology Officer with the Ministry of Education, as well as Subject Head for Student Leadership and Head of Department for Humanities in two secondary schools prior to joining SOTA. A two-time recipient of the Caring Teacher Award and multiple Outstanding Contribution Awards (Individual and Team), Anna is recognised for her commitment to holistic student development, curriculum leadership and staff professional learning.
Anna is passionate about designing meaningful learning experiences and believes in the purposeful use of educational technology to support effective pedagogy, student engagement and character development. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and travelling to experience different cultures and perspectives.
