A Ministry of Education (Overseas Specialist Award) scholar, Pang Jin graduated from King’s College London with a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours). While at King’s College London, she studied piano with Professor Diana Ketler at the Royal Academy of Music. Upon graduating, she went on to obtain her Postgraduate Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore.

Jin started her teaching career at St. Margaret’s Secondary School where she taught General Music and GCE ‘O’ Level music. As an educator, Jin believes in creating a learning environment where students are given the opportunity to explore, to make mistakes, to take risks, and to feel the freedom to express their independent and creative ideas.

In her free time, Jin enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her children. Jin hopes to use her varied experiences in music and sports to relate to and inspire the students in their journeys at SOTA.
