A recipient of the Shell-NAC Arts Scholarship, Foo Yun Ying graduated from the London Contemporary Dance School with a Master of Arts in 2009. She is a founding member of Re:Dance Theatre, and has performed with and choreographed for several dance companies in Singapore, namely T.H.E Dance Company, Frontier Danceland and RAW Moves. She also participated in the World Dance Alliance Global Summit 2014’s ChoreoLab, where she created a work-in-progress entitled You are who you are together with who I am.
An independent dance artist and educator, Yun Ying has taught at various arts institutions in Singapore, including LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
