Carved from soap — which naturally degrades over time — a burning candle sits in the centre, evoking visuals of a sundial, symbolising the ceaseless passage of time. It melts into a network of lines, representing the traces time leaves. Subtle blue and orange hues represent day and night, suggesting time’s continual movement.
