Wendy Ng graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts as its pioneer batch of Theatre student. She went on to pursue her bachelor’s degree and masters in the United Kingdom in theatre practice. Amongst several projects for television, she is best known for the recurring role of Phu Chu Kang’s mother-in-law in the popular local sitcom Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd. She has educated teachers and students through masterclasses in Dramaplus Arts, and headed the Singapore Repertory Theatre’s The Young Company before joining Singapore Polytechnic as Course Leader for the Applied Drama Diploma programme. Prior to joining SOTA, Wendy helmed the drama departments in other educational institutions such as St Joseph’s Institution International and United World College Thailand.
