Celeste Lin graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry and Mathematics) from the National University of Singapore (NUS). She went on to pursue a Master of Science (Statistics) from NUS, before obtaining her Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, Singapore. From 2011 to 2017, she taught H1 and H2 Mathematics at Millennia Institute, holding the appointment of Subject Head (Mathematics) from 2015 to 2017. With her various contributions in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) and data analytics, she was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award (Individual) in 2013 and 2016, and the Outstanding Contribution Award (Team) in 2013 and 2015.

To pursue her interest in data analytics, Celeste joined the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board in 2017, where she worked on projects as a Research and Development Officer in Measurement and Analytics.

During her schooling days, Celeste played in the Chinese Orchestra as a percussionist. She held the Chairperson and Technical Player appointments and led her members to perform at various events and concerts. Being a strong believer in lifelong learning and that every student can learn, she hopes to nurture the joy of learning of the subject in her students.
