Felicia graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Mathematics and Psychology from the University of Sydney. She went on to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore.

She began her career in education as a Mathematics and Computer Applications teacher with the Ministry of Education. She later assumed the position of Head of Department (Mathematics) where Polya Problem Solving Model with Thinking Routines were introduced into the teaching and learning of Mathematics. She also participated in a pilot project conducted by the National Institute of Education which introduced teaching of Mathematics with comics to Lower Secondary Normal Technical students. Since then, she has taught in international schools.

Felicia was involved in drama productions in her school days. She also appreciates other art forms such as dance and music. She believes in the relevance of Mathematics in daily life and hopes to help her students make connections of patterns in Mathematics to the Arts.
