Rachel Lim received her Bachelor of Science degree (majoring in Mathematics and Economics) from the National University of Singapore and Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore. She has also undergone International Baccalaureate’s specialised training in teaching Mathematics.

Rachel taught at Christ Church Secondary School and Sembawang Secondary School from 2003-2008. She believes in the value of character development and has led students on overseas expeditions aimed at developing resilience.

Rachel utilises media and the arts in her lessons in order to make her students see the relevance of Mathematics in real life and has led projects promoting entrepreneurial spirit among youths.

Rachel believes that art is the language of the soul and that through developing the artistic talents of students, they are inspired to grow and do their best in all their endeavours.
