Jyotika Thakur graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, India. At Himachal Pradesh University, she further her post-graduate studies and was awarded with Certificate of Merit. Jyotika received her Bachelor in Education degree from University of Jammu, India.

Prior to joining School of the Arts Singapore, Jyotika taught at Sarsvati Vidya Mandir Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, India. She has undergone International Baccalaureate’s specialised training in teaching Hindi.
