Sudha Gupta obtained her Bachelor of Science (Biology) from St Andrews Degree College in Uttar Pradesh, India and Bachelor of Education in Hindi Language from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi India. As a private candidate, she has been awarded the A level certificate from Singapore -Cambridge Certificate of Education in Hindi language. She also holds a Master of Arts Degree in Hindi Language and Literature from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University U.P. India. Prior to joining SOTA, She taught the Hindi Language for 9 years in DAV Hindi School in Singapore for Primary as well as Secondary classes. Sudha has also written a Hindi composition book along with her colleagues for the Primary level which is used as a teaching material.

In 2013, Sudha joined Global Indian International School Singapore as a Hindi teacher. She has experience in teaching various syllabi such as GCE, CBSEi, IGCSE, etc. She also trained students for various debates, drama, dances, street plays and speeches for internal as well as external competitions. She has experience in teaching students across different levels. In the area of professional development, she has undergone Singapore Examination and Assessment Board and Creative and Innovative Teaching workshops. She aspires to stay updated with the fast advancements of technology so that she is able to find new ways to engage with and teach her students.

As a Subject Head in her previous school in 2016, Sudha ensured the smooth running of subject activities and events. She also closely worked with the teacher-in-charge for Indian Classical Dance and Herbal Garden Co-Curriculum Activity (CCA).

Sudha believes that Art is like a language. It is a language that has the power to evoke strong emotions from students and the ability to shock, confuse, and enlighten them.
