Theatre
SOTA students specialising in theatre will embark on a comprehensive learning journey that encompasses all aspects of performing, including directing, playwriting, critique, stage management, and production design.
Students will get to discover and develop their creative voice and vocabulary in theatre. They will also gain appreciation and respect for a range of theatre traditions, dramatic styles, forms, processes, practices, and conventions. The programme immerses students in a variety of social and cultural contexts, helping them develop the essential skills and appreciation for theatre-making and life-long learning.

Theatre IBCP
The Theatre International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme develops confident, skilled theatre-makers through intensive training in acting, creation, and professional practice. Training is highly practical and collaborative, but strongly rooted in relevant theories and concepts and closely connected to real-world contexts — students will receive comprehensive training in voice, movement, and performance, and develop skills in devising and theatre-making as they sharpen their artistic and career visions.
At the heart of the training is a respect for cultural heritage, a commitment to theatre as a force for societal good, and a value for the uniqueness of the creative individual.
