Ho Yi Ling graduated from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a Bachelor of
Science, majoring in Applied Physics. She went on to pursue a Postgraduate
Diploma in Education (Physical Education) at the National Institute of Education
(NIE), Singapore.
Yi Ling has a strong passion for sports and the outdoor. She represented her secondary
school in inter-school netball competitions, and played ultimate frisbee in her
polytechnic and university years. She represented Singapore women's club ‘Havoc
Mayhem’ in the Asian-Oceanic Ultimate and Guts Club Championship (AOUGCC) 2017
held in Manila, Philippines, where her team attained 2nd position in the Women’s
Category. She is currently a National Player for the Singapore Beach Ultimate
Frisbee Women Team and will be representing Singapore in the upcoming Asian-Oceanic Beach Ultimate Championships (AOUBC) 2019 in June, held in Shirahama,
Japan.
As an avid sportsperson who loves outdoors activities, Yi Ling believes that
experiential education provides a great platform for character building and for
students to build self-confidence and learn values that are beyond classroom setting.
