Daniel obtained his degree from the University of Melbourne, where he majored in English and Cultural Studies. He started his teaching career in Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) where he taught both mainstream and Gifted Education students. He later moved on to Anglo-Chinese Junior College where he helped to set up the Knowledge and Inquiry program. He has also undergone International Baccalaureate’s specialised training in teaching Theory of Knowledge and in guiding students for their Creativity, Activity, Service projects.
Daniel believes in education in all its myriad forms and has made it his mission to find new and interesting ways to bring learning into and beyond that of the classroom.
His interests lie in the mass media, with a particular focus on new media. His other interests lie in the realm of writing, photography and films.
