Year 1 and 2 Visual Arts students crafted Fly by Night, a series of free hanging wire sculptures exploring the notion of flight. These sculptures were suspended from a tree that visitors discovered with the use of handheld UV, . SOTA is proud to contribute to and be a part of the vibrant Bras Basah arts and heritage district

Going green with NTUC Income RUN 350

Going green with NTUC Income RUN 350 Young NTUC has entered into a unique collaboration with Singapore firm bloomerang for the NTUC Income RUN 350, which will see alumni from the School of the Arts create a sculpture made with clothes hangers given by runners. The sculpture is titled "A Selfless Gift", which will be showcased during the run on 7 April 2013. Over 10,000 runners from 56 countries have signed up and Young NTUC will plant a tree for every 100 runners taking part in the run. [13

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN KILLED Our Visual Arts teacher, Mr Vincent Leow, held his solo exhibition titled “FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN KILLED" at Chen Hampe Gallery, Geylang Lorong 24A -Shophouse 5 from 4 Dec 2015 to 3 Jan 2016. The main idea Vincent communicates in this exhibition is the notion of how we, in developed nations and technologically-advanced societies like Singapore, are passing through time and space in a desensitised bubble.
