Muthamil Festival 

Recipients: Pon Sundararaju

The Muthamil Festival is a yearly affair organised by the Singapore Tamil Writers' Association as part of the Tamil Language Festival. During the festival, Mr Pon Sundararaju, from SOTA’s Faculty of Mother Tongue Languages, received the Thamizahavel Award in recognition of his tremendous efforts in Tamil Literature. He mentioned that such an award would motivate fellow writers like him and encourage more writers in the Singapore Literature scene.
