2022 was an eventful year for the SOTA community as physical gatherings gradually made its way back to school events. Our students had the opportunity to perform and showcase their talents at several school events and festive occasions.

Deepavali still goes on despite a pandemic! This year, a group of staff organised a cozy event with small group activities so that we could still celebrate the festival of lights.

The fourth edition of Sunburst took on the form of a virtual concert this year! The Business Times - Capitaland concert raises funds in support of Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore and the SOTA Endowment Fund.

To mark the end of an eventful academic year, the annual Final Assembly went online! Instead of gathering as a school, students and teachers remained in their respective classes and watched a pre-recorded video, painstakingly put together by the Leadership Academy (LeAd).

At the end of September, we bid farewell to our Class of 2020 by journeying down memory lane virtually. Special thanks to the Farewell Assembly team for their hard work in putting together the virtual celebration!

SOTA celebrated our teachers on 3 September 2020 with a thoughtfully put together online concert. Thank you teachers for your dedication and passion for inspiring the next generation!

Celebrating the achievements of our students and Class of 2019 graduates this year was a little different this year! Instead of the usual fanfare, Level Awards was a cosy celebration in individual classes while Awards Day was an online event.

This year, we celebrated National Day with a whole suite of videos and class activities. Special thanks to the Leadership Academy (LeAd) team for organising this wonderful celebration. Together, we are a stronger Singapore!

In the third edition of Sunburst: The Business Times – CapitaLand Fundraising Show, SOTA students and alumni and members from Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore (MDAS) came together for an inclusive theatre-with-music production.

In October, we marked the end of the Class of 2019’s journey in SOTA with the Farewell Assembly. All the best to our Year 6s as they move on to the next lap of their journey!
