On 10 November 2023, SOTA commemorated its annual fundraising show Impact 2023, the second edition of a performance series that raises funds for the SOTA Endowment Fund (SEF).

In November of last year, SOTA held its first fundraising show, Impact 2022. Despite it being the school holidays, the campus was buzzing with activities as students, alumni, teachers and staff prepared for the show.

The #PurpoSEFul series spotlights the SOTA community members who have contributed towards the SOTA Endowment Fund, whether by participating in school-organised campaigns or initiating their own fundraising projects. As the artist behind the artworks found on our SOTA fundraising page, Year 5 Visual Arts student Freesia Tong kickstarts the series by sharing with us her motivations and inspirations behind the meaningful project.

In SOTA, students take the English Language and Critical Thinking (ELCT) from Year 1 to 4 and the Theory of Knowledge from Year 5 to 6. We speak to Ms Nanthini to find out more about ELCT and her teaching experience in SOTA!
