Kerry Jameson in Ceramic Review Issue 283

Visual Arts faculty member Ms Kerry Jameson shared her experience working with SOTA Year 4 Visual Arts students in the international ceramic art magazine, Ceramic Review. The students learnt about about hand-coiled figurative sculptures for the first time in the assignment project 'Gods and Monsters'.  Beginning with research and sketches, the students watched their creatures come to life with a honey glaze. Through her lessons, Kerry aims to instil an appreciation for clay and ceramics in her students.

Published by the Craft Potters Association, the Ceramic Review is read around the world by potters, artists, students, enthusiasts and collectors.
