Instituted in 1996, the Commendation Medal is awarded to selected persons who have distinguished himself or herself through commendable performance and conduct, or significant efficiency, competence and devotion to duty. As the head of Community Service at SOTA, Ms Ong leads a team of dedicated teachers who guide our students in various projects to contribute to the community through the Arts. We are inspired by her passion for service learning and strong belief in giving back to society.
