Year 4 Visual Arts student Joshua Ngoh had the honour of presenting his artwork, "Space", to Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister, Prime Minister's Office, and Second Minister for Finance and Education, at the Singapore International Science Teachers' Conference in November!

With the conference's theme being "Science and Education for the Smart Nation", Joshua's artwork was specially selected as the art piece integrates elements of science and technology. An illustration of a 3-Dimensional (3D) graph of the galaxy around the solar system, the artwork explores the overwhelming sense of space that the Earth, as a small planet, resides in. Joshua creates a sense of awe and isolation through the juxtaposition of the innumerable stars and vast distance between them, illuminating our presence from his Singaporean point of view.

What a lovely piece of work! Congratulations, Joshua!
