IBCP Dance Masterclasses with Alexis Saramite and Shahar Biniamini

The IBCP 5 and 6 Dance students recently had the privilege of attending a Classical Ballet masterclass with Alexis Saramite. A former principal dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet, he was in town to perform at the Superstars of Ballet gala and the students were able to watch him at the dress rehearsal.

The students also had the opportunity to attend a Gaga Masterclass with Shahar Biniamini, a former dancer of Batsheva Dance Company and a certified Gaga instructor. Gaga is a unique way of gaining knowledge and self-awareness through one's body, and Gaga classes are taught by dancers who have worked closely with Ohad Naharin, artistic director of Batsheva Dance Company.
