SOTA ran its second Creative Writing competition from November 2016 to February 2017. The competition was supported by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Foundation and was open to all current Primary 6 students. The competition received an overwhelming response and concluded with more than 1,000 submissions from over 100 primary schools. Eventually, 75 finalists were selected and invited to a one-day short story workshop at SOTA on 25 March 2017.

The top three winners are:
First Place: Gabrielle Tan Li Hsuen from Methodist Girls’ School

Second Place: John Junrui Hu Lagman from Anglo-Chinese School (Primary)
Third Place: Ivan Loh from  Anglo-Chinese School (Primary)

Congratulations to all winners! Their submissions will also appear in the Literary Arts Anthology that will be released in 2018.
