We were delighted to have Mdm Isabelle Hérouard (Teaching Faculty, Paris Opera Ballet School) conduct Character Dance masterclasses for our lower year Dance students during the March holidays. Mdm Isabelle incorporated some French folk dances that made use of different formations and partner-work, and also touched on Polonaise and Mazurka.

SOTA also invited boys from other schools to join in the boys' masterclass. The participants had an enjoyable time learning together under the enthusiastic guidance of a distinguished dancer.
