National Education Youth Dialogue Sessions 2017

As part of the Character and Citizenship Education programme, our Year 5 and 6 students are privileged to have dialogues with Senior Civil Servants and Office Holders every year. Through these dialogues, students have greater understanding of the considerations behind policy-making, as well as heightened awareness of national issues and challenges.

This year, we were glad to have Dr Lam Pin Min (Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport & Ministry of Health) on 2 August and Mr Kenneth Er (Chief Executive Officer, National Parks Board) on 16 August as our speakers for the Year 6 and 5 students respectively. The interactive dialogues were fruitful sessions where students deepened their understanding of conservation and environmental protection, as well as the transport and health schemes in Singapore.
