Paper Sculpting and Crafting Workshop by Japanese Artist Noriko Ambe

In November 2017, some of our Year 2 and 3 Visual Arts students participated in Japanese artist Noriko Ambe's paper sculpting and crafting workshop held at SOTA, at the invitation of the Foundation d'Enterprise Hermès. The workshop enabled our students to understand the technical precision behind Ambe’s craft, as well as develop skills related to paper sculpting and cutting. Their works were featured as part of Ambe's installation for the (Un)filtered Reflections exhibition at Liat Towers from 22 November 2017 to 11 February 2018.
