Literature Afternoon 2018: The Renaissance Faire

Lit Afternoon 1

This year’s Literature Afternoon took place on 4 April at our school's Multi-Purpose Hall. Titled “The Renaissance Faire”, the event was fun-filled with activities such as a calligraphy workshop, booths displaying Renaissance era clothing and food (with Ribena symbolising wine!), and a bagpipe performance by our guests from the Raffles Institution Boys’ Brigade. Vice-Principal, Ms Pauline Ann Tan, sportingly dressed as a Queen, ‘graced’ the event as the ‘Guest-of-Honour’, and even ‘slayed a (piñata) unicorn’ medieval-style. It was an afternoon filled with loads of laughter amidst engaging learning!
