SOTA Music students had the opportunity to learn and perform with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra in a concert titled, 'SCO & SOTA: Beyond Music' on 4 August 2015 at SOTA Concert Hall.

 

Compositions by our alumni, Koh Cheng Jin and Sun Pingyu were performed for the first time during the concert. Conductor for the concert was Mr Quek Ling Kiong, SCO's resident conductor, he is also SOTA's adjunct faculty member. The audience was treated to an evening of beautiful Chinese music with endless musical possibilities and it was an enriching learning experience for our music students.
